Ties That Bind Gaming offers free indie game marketing for qualifying games.

If you are an Indie video game developer looking for a content creator and influencer to help market your video game, you have come to the right place. Ties That Bind Gaming is growing alongside the indie scene and believes in fostering a mutually beneficial ecosystem. We offer free indie game marketing services to qualifying indie developers to express our commitment.

Approved video games will receive the following Indie game marketing services from Ties That Bind Gaming:

• A featured article on our website that includes our experience with your video game. The article contains opinions on your game and is not a review. There are no ratings or scores. You can see sample video game articles on our video games page.
• A full playthrough video will be recorded, edited, and distributed by Ties That Bind Gaming on our social media channels that support this type of video.
• At least one short video that is no longer than a minute long and is optimized for mobile video social media applications.

CONSIDERATION CRITERIA

Here are the criteria needed for your video game to be considered for our indie game marketing service:

• You must be an indie developer, meaning you are a solo developer or work with a small team.
• The video game must be listed on Steam.
• The video game must be finished (no demos or early-access games).
• A playthrough of your game should be no more than 2 hours long.
• Your video game must be within the genres we currently consider. These genres are:
  • Analog Horror or VHS Horror
  • Anomaly Horror
  • Holiday Horror
  • Liminal Space or Backrooms
  • Psychological Horror
  • Walking Simulator
• Single-player video games only.
• You must place the link to our article for your game on your various platforms. This may include your game’s website and Steam store page.
• You must share the link to our article for your game on your various social media accounts at least once.
• You must fill out the form below and provide valid information.
• (Optional) You can include up to 1,000 words about your experience as an indie game developer.
  • How did you begin your journey in game development?
  • Where did you start?
  • How long did it take to make your game?
  • What are your plans moving forward?
  • Add anything you like about your own experience.

APPROVAL

Please be aware that not every game will be approved for our indie game marketing service. Your application and game will be reviewed before a decision is made. If your video game is approved, we will email you with our intentions and we must get a reply from you. Approved video games will appear on our website and social media accounts.

By submitting this information, you acknowledge that you developed the game yourself or are part of the team that developed the game. Ties That Bind Gaming may create content based on the game submitted. Ties That Bind Gaming is not obligated to create content. Ties That Bind Gaming will not sell your Steam key. The Steam key will be claimed on a Steam account associated with the content creator at Ties That Bind Gaming. You have provided a valid email address that Ties That Bind Gaming will use to contact you. You will respond to emails from Ties That Bind Gaming within 1 day or risk forfitting your games approval. You agree to allow Ties That Bind Gaming to use all of the content you provide to create content based on the game you submit in this application.

If your application is approved, you agree to place the link to our article for your game on your various platforms which may include your game’s website, Steam store page, or other platforms per our request. You agree to share the link to our article for your game on your various social media accounts at least once.

Ties That Bind Gaming may edit or remove your article and any other content related to your game at any time from our website, social media accounts, and anywhere else Ties That Bind Gaming has provided content based on your game. Ties That Bind Gaming cannot be held liable for any content you provide with copyright infringement. Ties That Bind Gaming reserves the right to deny any services at any time and is not liable for anything related to information submitted or content provided by you.

Ties That Bind Gaming may update or revise the terms of service at any time. Updated or revised terms apply to our agreement.
